When an applicant indicates that they self-identify as a "trader", our New Accounts team must inquire additional details about the applicant as a trader, and confirm that they are not:
- Giving trading advice
- Trading other people's funds
- Soliciting business related to futures trading
- Pooling funds to trade futures
Individuals participating in the above activities generally require registration with the National Futures Association (NFA). NFA Bylaw 1101 requires brokerage firms such as NinjaTrader to ensure that it does not do business with individuals who should be registered, due to participation in the above activities.
How can I satisfy this requirement?
