DOM / Chart

Overview

The DOM and chart can be launched directly from a contract's card on the Markets screen. To launch:

Expand the Card to show details
Select the icon to make full screen

The DOM

The Default view on an expanded card will be the DOM. An overview of the DOM is below.

You can pinch and stretch the DOM to zoom in and out

The Chart

The Chart can be transitioned to directly from the DOM by tapping and dragging the vertical line on the left side of the DOM.

At any point during the transition from the DOM to Chart, you can stop and leave a combined view of the DOM and Chart on the screen

Placing Orders on The DOM

Accessing the DOM menu will allow you to add some quick order entry buttons to the DOM as well as set your order quantity

Tapping "More Trade Preferences" on this menu will allow you to configure bracket settings and order flags

To place orders directly on the DOM:

Tap and hold to display order confirmation box
You can slide your finger up and down the DOM to update the prices
Once at the desired price, lift your finger and you will see the confirmation box as well as a circle where you last touched. To confirm and place the order, simply tap the circle again

Managing Orders on the DOM

To change an order's price simply tap/hold the working order and drag to a new price tap the confirmation circle again to confirm moving the order to the new price

To cancel an order on the DOM, tap and hold the working order and swipe off the edge.

Bracket Orders

To place a bracket order on the DOM open the menu drawer and enable brackets

Select "More Trade Preferences" to adjust your bracket settings

Place the main order like you would a single order (Tap to select the price, tap again to confirm)

The main order will show its links to the contingent OCO brackets

The bracket orders can be modified independently in the same way the main order can be modified. Tap and hold to select, slide to a new price, tap again to confirm

Alerts

You can create alerts simply in the app by tapping and holding a price on either the DOM or the chart. In doing so, you will see a confirmation for the alert parameters. Simply tap the price again and the alert "bell" icon will be added at the price and you will see notifications in the assistant area (at the bottom of the app) when your alerts are triggered. To delete an alert, simply tap on it again and you will see a delete confirmation. Tap again to confirm and the "bell" icon is removed.

When an alert is triggered you will see the notification in the Assistant area at the bottom of the app

The most current candle on my chart doesn’t display. It shows last completed candle and then the current price and candle doesnt show up on the chart. I can only see current price via two really small dots on right hand price column

When on the overview screen, I try to make it fullscreen but it does load. Is it possible to have a custom time frame slot?

Hi Leonedis,

When you make the card full screen, it should (initially) open to a DOM. From the DOM, you can tap/drag the vertical line on the left side of the DOM to transition to a chart view. Are you seeing that in your app, or are you experiencing an error?

Do you have a Real-time (Depth of Market) market data subscription for the other exchanges for the products you are trying to look at?
