Extracting data from a different timeframe for use in an indicator

Hi, does anyone know of any way to take in OHLC data from a different timeframe and use it in an indicator?

For example, say I was trading on a Daily chart and wanted to gather data from the Hourly timeframe to use in an indicator on the Daily chart. If, say, I wanted to average the 24 hourly closes in one day and then plot that on the Daily chart, there's no way I could do that with just Daily data.

  Different time frame data on a certain time frame chart would be very useful. 
  
  EMA, SMA and MACD options would be great.
