Currently Day-Loss-Limit has to be specified as a positive number which represents the max loss the users would allow and ask the platform to liquidate the current trade if the limit is reached. This does great to protect users from losing more than the set limit from the Day-Start-Balance. But if I have made money since Day-Start I would like to be able o task the platform to protect me from losing a specified portion of my earnings. I request this to be done in one of the following ways (or any other way that would give the same capability):

    1) Allow the Day-Loss-Limit to be a negative number also. When I specify a negative number -x I would be asking the platform to liquidate my trade if my account balance reached the limit of Day-Start-Balance + x. With this capability let say I have made $500 since day-start and would like to lose the $300 of the $500 earnings I would specify -300 as the Day-Loss-Limit. If I specify 300 as the Day-Loss-Limit it would work the same as now which is to protect from losing more than 300 from the Day-Start-Balance.

    2) the above way might be a bit confusing. If so another way would be to allow users to enter a "Update Day-Loss Base" command to ask the platform to reset/update the base it uses to compute the Day-Loss-Limit from the Day-Start-Balance to the current balance. In this way if I specify $300 as the Day-Loss-Limit but I have also made a certain amount already say $500 from Day-Start and I can enter the "update Day-Loss Base" command to ask the platform to set the limit to Current-Balance+$300 instead of Day-Start-Balance+$300.

Either ways would allow us to protect a specified part of our day earnings and not just our Day-Start-Balance.

This request capability/concept is kind of like having the Trailing Stop capability which would protect part of earnings from a trade where a Simple Stop can only produce users from losing money.

Please can we get the "Target limit" feature enabled in the overall account, like you have with the stop loss limit. Basically as per above requests, we can set a daily target stop loss limit and new feature can be where we can add in a profit target as well where the system automatically closes out the trades.

    Thanks.

A server-side profit lock, to liquidate once a daily profit target is reached and the option to prevent the user from overriding it until end of session would be a much needed fail-safe for traders who might suffer from discipline issues.
