Hello everyone,

I use a 5 Min chart for my intra day trend identification and I have used a 34EMA channel for this over the years. I recently heard a webinar by Raghee Horner who uses the same thing but color codes her bars. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to code this up for me. 

 

Here is a pic of what this looks like on the screen. I would like all the color options fully user selectable if possible.

  Aloha Brian!  I really like the simplicity of Raghee's system!  Could you talk about how you use the indicator? 

  I recreated it and shared - it's called "Tiki Raghee GRaB Candles".

  Thank you Tiki Dave!! That was awesome!.

  I use the band more as a quick visual cue for trending condtions. I like how price often meets the support and resistance areas identified by the bands as well as the actual support and resistance zones created by price action. For me, its easier visually to do it this was although its not necessary. 

  I also like how most of the time, price pauses at these areas and provides me with a confirmation bar or par pattern to resume the trend with smaller risk. 

  Lastly, it does help see break out areas a bit clearer as well. 

  None of it is rocket science, I'm pretty lazy and this helps me avoid more work!
