Changes to the Setup and Selection of Bracket Orders in the DOM
CompletedChanges to Bracket Orders in DOM
In this next release, we will be introducing an update to the Bracket Orders in the DOM. This change will allow the user to select the bracket strategy directly from a dropdown in the footer in the DOM. In addition, users will now be able to send both a one-time OSO order in the DOM as well as a one-time OCO order in the DOM (where previously these 2 order could only be sent from the order ticket)
Select Bracket Strategy from Dropdown in DOM footer
With the latest release, the Bracket Strategy selection will not be made from a dropdown visible from the DOM footer. Previously, this function was available from the Bracket Settings Gear available at the bottom of the DOM (which is still in place and functioning in the same manner). When you select this dropdown, you will have the option to:
- Turn Bracket strategies Off
- Select a bracket strategy you have already configured
- Place a one-time OSO order
- Place a one-time OCO order
To configure a new bracket, click on the gear icon next to the dropdown
When the bracket strategy is selected it will show in the dropdown as the active strategy. To disable bracket strategies, set the dropdown to “OFF”
Place a one-time OCO order in the DOM
With the latest release, users will now be able to place a one-time OCO order directly on the DOM. Previously, this function was available from the Order Ticket only.
To place a one time OCO order:
Select “OCO one-time” from the dropdown in the DOM footer
With the “OCO one-time” selected, Click once to place the first order. The “+” in front of the quantity denotes this order is suspended until the pair is complete
Click a second time to complete the OCO pair. Neither order will have a “+” indicating this is an OCO pair. You can confirm the OCO order by viewing your order details.
