Cursor Snap to Grid

Perhaps the propensity for feature requests to be so easily relegated to a democratic process which apparently is also not followed in any meaningful way suggests this request ought to be introduced with a question.

If I can neither buy nor sell an ES contract at 2889.37, or 2891.28, or etc, etc, why does the cursor reveal them on the chart? The values on the chart should only be the values where a transaction can be made.

The cursor should snap to the grid. If not all the time, at least by feature selection. The cursor already snaps to the candle. Why would it snap to an unavailable price?
