In release 1.190628.0 we will be introducing an “Activity Log” module.  The purpose of this module will be to show a chronological detail of any actions or activities that affected orders, positions or cash for the account (...sort of a running real-time combination of several Tradovate reports). 

 

The module can be added to any workspace form the Workspace manager:

 

When a user performs an action it will be recorded and displayed here.  For example, a Buy Market Order:

 

The different lines are color-coded to allow for easy reference and there are both time and category filters available which can be accessed in the upper right of the module.

 

If the user then flattens their position by clicking one of the User Action buttons (Exit at Market and Cancel):

 

It will also show the complete details if brackets were enabled when an order was placed:

  Love it! Great to see a modern platform that keeps innovating One question: does the fact this is a primarily cloud-based platform mean when I submit an order it has to go through your google servers before it hits the exchange?

  Does it show messages from the exchange too like X-trader's Audit Trail, like pre-open status changes etc?

  Hi Jon,

  Currently, the Activity Log will only display updates to:

  • Order Statuses
  • Positions
  • Cash
  • And any User Actions that are related to Orders, Positions or Cash (i.e. Exit at Market and Cancel button was clicked, Daily Loss Limit was enabled, etc)
