Addition of "My Devices" area in Application Settings
CompletedWith Version 1.200207 we have introduced a "My Devices" area to the Application Settings. This area will display and allow the management of devices for Live Account holders with Tradovate.
For users who do not have 2-factor authentication enabled for their user when logging in from a new device an email will be sent to the user's email address notifying them of a login to a new device with their user name (similar to the below):
In the Trader, under Application Settings > My Devices you will see a list of the devices that have been used to access your account:
Showing Device, IP Address, Last location, Last Login Time. The column "Manage" will show additional details when 2-Factor Authentication is enabled for your user. More on that below.
For users who have 2-factor authentication enabled for their user when logging in from a new device an email will be sent to the user's email address notifying them of a login to a new device with their user name along with functions allowing you to "Approve" or "Deny" access form this device (similar to the below):
In the Trader, under Application Settings > My Devices you will see a list of the devices that have been used to access your account:
Showing Device, IP Address, Last location, Last Login Time. The column "Manage" will Allow you to remove access for devices you no longer wish to be able to access Tradovate with your user name and password. For devices that have accessed but have not been approved, you will see "Pending" as well as an option to "Forget". Clicking "Forget" will generate a new email to "Approve" or "Deny" access if a Tradovate login is attempted again form that device. If the device has been "Approved" (via the email link), you will see an option here to "Remove Access"
Important Notes: Each Device (PC, Mac, Mobile) + (Browser, App or Downloadable install) combination is considered a "Device"
