  Yes this feature would be great, and also add it to the chart or even the current bar, but please don't add it to the tab like the current Time counter is.

  Yes, really need a tick counter with the ability to choose location (tab and/or on chart or somewhere near current bar) would be nice.

  I like how Allan has it on his chart.  Having it hovering somewhere near the current bar, or the tab, works for me too.

  The ability to select the size of the font and opacity would be nice.

  The ultimate would be adjustable size font and opacity, with the ability to pin it to a location on the chart so it would be stationary as the bars scroll left and up and down.

  Let's go for "ultimate!"
